This Privacy Policy describes how Proseek LLC ("Proseek," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Proseek platform, including the website at proseek.org, our iOS and Android mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
Proseek operates an online marketplace that connects bodybuilding, physique, and fitness coaches and experts ("Coaches") with athletes and fitness clients ("Clients") for 1:1 coaching, expert Q&A, live sessions, webinars and events, and competition-prep operations. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

When you connect an external service, we receive information from it as authorized by you — for example, Google Calendar connection tokens and busy/availability details used to sync your availability, sign-in profile information from Apple or Google, and payout/verification status from Stripe.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The Service is a marketplace, so some information is shared by design. Your public profile (for Coaches: name, photo, bio, specialties, services, pricing, service area, badges, and reviews) is visible to other users and may be publicly visible. When a booking is made, the Coach and Client each see the information needed to deliver the session (such as name, booking details, and messages exchanged). Reviews you post are attributed to you. Content you post in public areas, including public webinars, may be seen by other participants.
We share information with third-party providers who help us operate the Service. Each is bound by contract to protect your information and use it only as we direct:

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Proseek, our users, or the public.
If Proseek is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Live 1:1 sessions, Q&A, and webinars are delivered through our real-time video provider (LiveKit). Where a session or event is recorded, that is indicated in the Service; recordings are stored with our cloud storage provider (Amazon Web Services) and made available to the participants entitled to them. Photos, videos, and other media you upload are stored with our storage providers. Please do not share sensitive personal or health information in public areas of the Service. Authorized Proseek administrators may review account, profile, booking, and reported content in order to approve Coaches, verify credentials and badges, moderate content, investigate reports and disputes, and suspend accounts that violate our terms. Administrative actions are logged. Administrators do not have access to your password or to Coach payout banking credentials, which are held by our authentication and payment providers.
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we retain transaction, payout, and tax records as required by law (generally up to 7 years), retain records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements, retain anonymized or aggregated usage analytics, and delete other personal information within 90 days unless longer retention is required by law. Records evidencing SMS consent and opt-out are retained as required for messaging-compliance purposes. You may request earlier deletion of specific information by contacting ops@proseek.org.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact ops@proseek.org with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request." We will verify your request before acting on it.
Your choices:
California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
The Service is hosted in the United States and operated for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer and processing.
No mobile information — including mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent — is shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked to receive: such information is disclosed only to the service providers that operate our messaging on our behalf (our CRM and messaging platform provider, Flowpilot360, and our SMS infrastructure provider, Twilio) and the mobile carriers strictly necessary to transmit those messages, and to no one else.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, row-level access controls that restrict data access to authorized accounts, role-based administrative permissions, audit logging, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate users and maintain session state, remember preferences, understand and improve usage of the Service, and detect and prevent fraud. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit functionality. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
The Service is intended for adults and requires users to be at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete that information and close the account. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact ops@proseek.org.
Information you choose to share with a Coach — such as training history, body measurements, progress photos, nutrition details, or general health context — is shared with that Coach in order to deliver the service you booked. Proseek is not a healthcare provider and is not a covered entity under HIPAA, and this information is not treated as protected health information under that law. Share only what you are comfortable sharing, and see our Terms of Service regarding health, fitness, and medical disclaimers.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
